Stevie Nicks, birthed as Stephanie Lynn Nicks (born May 26, 1948) is a singer, songwriter, and producer best known for her work with Fleetwood Mac and as a solo artist.
Nicks joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975, after beginning her career as a pair with her then-boyfriend Lindsey Buckingham, releasing the album Buckingham Nicks to little success. Rumors, the band’s second album with Nicks, went platinum in the United States and became one of the best-selling albums of all time.
While still a member of Fleetwood Mac, Nicks launched her solo career in 1981, releasing the studio album Bella Donna, which topped the Billboard 200 and went multiplatinum.
