While Basim’s methods may not be entirely heroic, the way he traverses a map is incredibly dynamic and fluid. If you want to swap web-slinging in New York for jumping from building to building in Baghdad, then AC Mirage is the game for you.

As far as reboots go, Infamous: Second Son is one of the most underrated. Sharing a similar quippy protagonist as he grapples with his newfound powers and explores a city, the comparisons to Spider-Man are clear to see.

3 – Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

While it may seem odd to have one of the most renowned Soulslike games in a list about Spider-Man, hear me out: Sekiro is known for its flowing combat. A deadly dance as swords clash and heads roll. And Spider-Man’s combat flows just as wonderfully (albeit with much less bloodshed).
Alongside this, our titular shinobi’s prosthetic arm – aside from utilising several unique gadgets – also allows him to grapple and launch himself into various vantage points, though you won’t be seeing any tricks or quips in this game.
While I don’t think Spider-Man will be fighting a giant serpent anytime soon (although Lizard comes pretty close), Sekiro’s grappling will feel just as satisfying for those who enjoy the Spider-Man titles.
2 – God of War: Ragnarök
